Tea Production

Duration: 4 hours

Strictly speaking, a tea is an infusion of plant tissues (e.g. leaves, fruits, roots or flowers) into water. Teas are most commonly made using hot or boiling water, and are usually made to be used as a drink. While teas can be made from many different types of plants, the most widely cultivated and consumed tea is that which is made from the leaves of Camellia sinesis. This course is about that type of tea.
