As with land-based environments human activities have had significant impacts on marine environments. With this course you will gain insights into the impacts that humans have upon marine environments, with a main focus on the impacts of overfishing. It will cover selected aspects of commercial fishing, techniques for managing stocks of marine organisms and basic concepts.
