Duration: 3 hours
Plants that are grown in containers have their roots in “potting media”, which may be made from soil or other non-soil components. However, not all plants are grown in soil. In hydroponics, for example, plants are grown in sterile media without soil and are fed nutrients diluted in water. In this course, you will learn about general soil management and maintenance, different types of media and additions, and how to cater to a variety of plant types.
