Online and telephone counselling is not viable for all clients; sometimes a client has trouble opening up over the phone, or a client may begin to engage in problematic behaviours such as trolling and/or nuisance calling. In this course, you'll learn about some of the downsides of using telephone and online counselling, such as nuisance, silent or chronic callers, problems with digital literacy, and a lack of non-verbal communication.
