Most lawns and sports turfs are planned to comprise specific turf-grass species, from a limited range of genera. That is the ideal and intended goal of most turf managers. Sometimes the cheapest and most pragmatic way of managing turf is to mow whatever exists, or emerges when an area is first established as a turf. In this course, you will learn about the characteristics, culture and uses of various cool condition grasses as a turf.
