The immediate environment surrounding a building can have a dramatic effect upon the health of people inside the building. Air, dust, and energy (e.g. heat, light, etc.) move into (and out of) a building from its surrounding environment. It follows that if the surrounding environment is of good quality, the environment inside the building will be better.
